Returning to Lagos for its third edition, the annual MasterCard Restaurant Week is set to feature 33 restaurants this year with promise of unforgettable dining experience from 4 to 25 November 2016. This year’s edition is in partnership with “Lost in Lagos” and organizers said the event will highlight the incredible dining experiences available in Lagos.

During MasterCard Restaurant Week, diners in Lagos can enjoy fine dining experiences at discounted prices, with lunch and dinner packages available. Celebrating a special occasion has never been easier than this November, when you can take that someone special out for a culinary experience that won’t soon be forgotten.

Exclusively available to Mastercard cardholders, people in Lagos can go to one of the 33 participating restaurants and request the special menu on offer. Alternatively, reservations can be made via Lost in Lagos website, or directly through the restaurant of choice.

“People in Lagos enjoy dining out, and this initiative reinforces that the city has so much great talent in the industry. We share a common goal with Mastercard to provide great experiences to people, while promoting the countless hidden jewels the city has to offer,” said Tannaz Bahnam, founder of Lost in Lagos.

This year’s edition will feature the Best Performing Restaurant Award which will go to the restaurant with the most visitors during the three weeks coupled with positive reviews. Awards will also be given to the best three waiters who distinguish themselves as providing exemplary customer service.

“Tourism is important to the growth of Lagos, and Nigeria as a whole. Local people, and those visiting our dynamic city often don’t see Lagos as a dining destination and we wanted to change this perception by creating the Mastercard Restaurant Week.  It gives people the chance to experience something new, while taking in all the delicious tastes offered by the talented chefs at the various restaurants,” said Omokehinde Adebanjo, vice president and area business head of West Africa at Mastercard.
