A smuggler was caught bringing iPhones into China but the thing is, iPhones can be easily gotten in China and I have no idea why the device would be brought into the country illegally but I guess it’s lucrative for smugglers to bring the devices in from other countries, since they can be purchased at lower prices to sell on the black market.
It bet you’d want to know how he tried getting the phones in? We could think of ways, but photos posted by Sina shows how he attempted to smuggle 94 iPhones into the country.
He apparently taped all of the devices around his body and then covered them with clothes. Obviously this wouldn’t be an easy task to do through an airport, but the criminal apparently made his way into China through the Futian Port in Shenzhen between China and Hong Kong. Though the metal detectors caught him in the act.
It appears that most of the phones caught in the smuggling act were iPhone 5 or iPhone 5s.
