Google Supports Nigeria Presidential Elections with a Google Doodle

Google has shown its support for Nigeria as the country goes to the polls today to choose the next President. It has created a Google Doodle for this occasion. The middle letter “g” in the Google word is replaced with a ballot box in the Nigerian green white green.

The doddle opens up to search results on the web about the Nigerian elections when clicked.

There are 14 candidates for this election even though most people only know about the candidates from PDP (Goodluck Jonathan / Namadi Sambo) and APC (Muhammadu Buhari / Yemi Osinbajo).

We wish Nigeria peaceful, violence free elections.
