Kenya’s Little Shuttle yesterday announced that it would be suspending its services temporarily.
Little posted a statement on Twitter announcing the shutdown that read, “We deeply regret to announce that the Little Shuttle service has been temporarily suspended effective immediately. We apologize profusely for the inconvenience but the service will be back with a bang very soon.”
The ride sharing service had previously halted its services in October 2019, following demands from Kenyan transport regulator (the NTSA) to have them register as public service vehicles.

Little Shuttle, as well as main competitor Swvl, and others were allegedly operating point-to-point shuttle services without the right licenses.
The services resumed later the same month having made some changes. Little Shuttle introduced 7 seater vehicles as opposed to buses and 14-seater matatus.
