LinkedIn yesterday introduced chat-style messaging experience allowing users to attach photos, documents, stickers, emojis and GIFs to their connections or groups via web, mobisites and on its iOS and Android apps.
The service is initially rolling out to all English speaking users globally, including paying and non-paying users. LinkedIn Premium users will still use InMail to people they are not connected with. This seems to be an attack on iMessage, Messenger, Whatsapp, Line and WeChat among others.
