LifeQ, a leading preeminent provider of biometrics and health information derived from wearable devices has collaborated with CONNEQT, Inc, a consumer health company that provides home vital signs monitors, consumer health apps, and wearables to provide industry-leading health insights for wearable device users.
As part of the collaboration, LifeQ will allow the CONNEQT Band that features an additional fingertip photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor and complement CONNEQT’s hearth health-focused offerings with LifeQ’s broad range of physiological information.
The CEO of LifeQ, Laurie Olivier stated that “We are glad to partner with CONNEQT to further strengthen our wearable based surveillance, remote patient monitoring solutions, and screening,” This collaboration will allow greater health insights and more effective treatment of especially cardiovascular illnesses.”
By providing a 24/7 lens into the body, LifeQ’s solution is beyond an everyday smartwatch, generating business-grade biometrics for consumers, the acute and chronically ill, athletes detect health issues and prevent illness.
The CONNEQT Band is designed mainly for clinical applications, however, will also be used for clinical, research customers, and business that seeks access to LifeQ’s broader health management and wellness solutions.
Additionally, to access a range of free and premium information and insights through the CONNEQT app and CONNEQT Band, end-users will also be able to access the LifeQ app providing a 360-degree view of individual health.
The new collaboration with CONNEQT goes in line with LifeQ’s open architecture approach, seeking to allow partner wearable devices and to strengthen and maximize the reach of its wellness and health solutions.
The collaboration will also provide access to more data to allow both parties to expand and strengthen the utility and range of their respective offerings.
