News of Leonardo DiCaprio’s win was shared widely shared on social media today as finally won an Oscar for his leading role in “The Revenant”, but the memes have not stopped.
The 41 actor had been previously nominated on four other occasions for an Oscar in his 25-year acting career but he always fell short at the final hurdle, sparking off many memes mocking him over the years.

The news of his first-ever “Best Actor” Oscar win was celebrated by many on the Internet, there were those who asked why the bear in the movie didn’t win anything for its brilliant acting.
“I thought you’d remember me,” said the caption of a bear speaking to DiCaprio.
Another meme said that DiCaprio’s acceptance speech was perfect as he had been “practising the speech for 12 years”.
