Chinese multinational computer technology company, Lenovo
, has introduced three new smartphones in the Nigerian market.
The smartphones are the P70, S90 and S60.
Speaking at the launch event, the Executive Director of Mobile Business Group at Lenovo, Middle East and Africa (MEA), Shashank Sharma, described Nigeria as a vital focus for the organisation.
According to him, “Nigeria is one of the fastest growing smartphone markets globally. With about 30 per cent smartphone penetration, the country represents huge growth potential for Lenovo.”
He also added: “In the past one year, Lenovo has made strong progress with its Nigerian consumers. We consider the region as a principal destination for investment, even as we continue to record robust growth in sales. Sustaining a solid in-country presence is very important to us from both social and economic standpoints. We will continue to expand our business and invest heavily in this market.”
Lenovo P70

The S60 lets you take brilliant 13MP photos and 5MP selfies with a new simplified interface.
All the phones are dual-SIM and they come loaded with a range of Lenovo’s DOit series of apps.
As at the time of this report, retail prices of these smartphones have not been announced.
