Leicester City is currently trending on Twitter as they win the 2015/16 English Premier League courtesy of a 2-2 draw between Chelsea and Tottenham.

They currently have 77 points with 2 more matches to go. Tottenham, the next club on the League table, is on 70 points. This means even if Leicester lose their last two matches, they would still be on top of the League table.

The club was written off as relegation candidates at the start of the season, when the bookmakers made Leicester 5,000-1 outsiders to be crowned champions.

The club is being managed by Claudio Ranieri, one time manager of Chelsea FC. And they have only lost 3 league games this season.

Here is a clip of Leicester City players celebrating at Jamie Vardy’s home.

It is Leicester’s first top-flight title and the club, owned by Thai billionaire businessman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, have also qualified for next season’s Champions League group stages for the first time.

Leicester City have won the Premier League. The biggest sporting shock of my lifetime, and it's only my team.

Former Leicester, Everton and England striker Gary Lineker said he would present Match of the Day in his undies if Leicester City wins the League.

Well Gary will have to make do his word.

    Congratulations Leicester City!!
