LAfricaMobile, a prominent player in the realm of cloud-based communication and mobile marketing solutions, has successfully raised €4.3 million during its Series A investment round.

This financial boost was spearheaded by Janngo Capital and saw contributions from an illustrious array of investors. Notably, this included French football stars Aurélien Tchouaméni and Jules Koundé, the entrepreneurial duo behind Expensya, Karim Jouni and Jihad Othmani, as well as the investment entities SouthBridge Investments and Ciwara Capital.

With this infusion of capital, LAfricaMobile is poised to accelerate its expansion efforts throughout Central Africa while simultaneously refining its suite of products. A significant portion of this initiative will be dedicated to the incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, aiming to amplify the benefits delivered to its clientele and collaborative partners.

Established in 2014 by Malick Diouf, LAfricaMobile has been at the forefront of enabling companies to orchestrate extensive communication campaigns across the African continent. Its state-of-the-art platform is versatile, supporting a multitude of mobile technologies such as SMS, USSD, Voice, WhatsApp, Airtime, and Text-to-Speech services.

LAfricaMobile prides itself on its culturally rich team of nearly 30 professionals, who have collectively overseen close to 100 million transactions. The company’s expansive reach includes connections across more than 15 African countries and partnerships with upwards of 60 mobile operators.

This recent round of funding not only cements LAfricaMobile’s status as a trailblazer in Africa’s cloud communication and mobile marketing sectors but also strategically positions the company for sustained growth. With plans to harness AI, LAfricaMobile is set to offer even more innovative and powerful tools to businesses looking to thrive on the African continent.
