Following a triumphant inaugural edition, the Kofi Annan Award for Innovation in Africa (KAAIA) is now accepting applications, with a focus on tech-driven solutions to ensure zero hunger throughout the continent.
The KAAIA, orchestrated by the Austrian Federal Chancellery in partnership with the Kofi Annan Foundation, invites entrepreneurial startups with verified business models and observable social impact to submit their plans. The aim is to scale their positive impact and benefit a larger number of Africans.
The KAAIA aims to highlight the potential of African entrepreneurs in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. It seeks to support tech-enabled solutions and strategies that improve food security and systems across African nations.
