The highly anticipated MAC finale, held in Accra, Ghana, showcased the remarkable talents and groundbreaking solutions of tech startups from across Africa. Among a pool of formidable contenders, Koa Academy from South Africa captivated judges and audiences alike with its dynamic approach to online education.
Koa Academy, founded in South Africa, offers innovative and interactive courses tailored for grades 4-12. With a mission to revolutionize the Edtech industry, Koa Academy prioritizes engagement and accessibility, striving to make quality education available to all learners, regardless of geographical constraints.
The competition attracted hundreds of early-stage tech startups, each rigorously evaluated on criteria such as innovation, scalability, and team expertise. Finalists hailing from Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, and Kenya showcased their unique solutions and business models before a distinguished panel of judges comprising investors and industry experts.
