The workshop tagged Kaymu Entrepreneurial Workshop, took place on the 29th of January at the LCCI Training and Exhibition Centre, Alausa, Ikeja.

According to the Managing Director of Kaymu, Evangeline Wiles,” Kaymu’s partnership with LCCI was founded out of the need to drive e-commerce consciousness amongst entrepreneurs to give them a competitive advantage in the Nigerian market”.

Speaking at the workshop, the Head of Seller Acquisition and Retention, Kaymu , Kayode Adeyinka  stressed the importance of small and medium scale enterprises to leverage on e-commerce. “The average Nigerian is online 70% of the time thereby the smartest decision for every business owner is to tap into the online audience”, he sated as he guided them through the process of setting up their online stores.

Kaymu’s Head of Seller Management, Adetayo Olabajo further emphasized the importance of the online marketplace, challenging entrepreneurs to take advantage of the Kaymu platform to run their businesses from the comfort of their home and see the massive turnout.

The Director, Membership and Trade Promotion LCCI, Deli Alimi, thanked the management of Kaymu for their contributions to the SME sector and pledged to further consolidate efforts with Kaymu to promote entrepreneurial activities in Lagos State.
