The African Centre for a Green Economy’s Green Innovation Hub (GiH) has recently opened applications for its Just Transition Innovation Programme (JTIP). This initiative is on the lookout for pioneering green businesses that are poised to spearhead Africa’s efforts in climate action and the transition towards a low-carbon economy.
The Just Transition Innovation Programme is meticulously crafted to bolster green businesses by providing comprehensive business development training, tailored coaching sessions, and increased exposure in the industry.
The primary objective of the programme is to equip entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to expand their businesses, generate employment opportunities, and assist nations in fulfilling their climate change adaptation and mitigation commitments. The programme is committed to promoting cooperation and networking, enabling entrepreneurs to venture into markets beyond their immediate geographical areas and to establish connections with potential investors and key industry players.
Entrepreneurs participating in the programme will have the invaluable chance to refine their business strategies, gain mentorship and financial support, and elevate their enterprises to achieve a broader and more profound impact.
Applications are open here until July 31.
