Ecommerce giant Jumia yesterday launched a new series of offers on thousands of electronic devices under a concept called “electroshock”.
Until Sunday, March 6, the online supermarket’s customers throughout Côte d’Ivoire will benefit from “shocking prices” on smartphones, tablets, and computers. As a bonus, in partnership with MTN, Jumia is offering an additional 10% discount on all payments made via MTN mobile money.
Buy a last generation smartphone for less than 20,000 CFA francs (less than 6,605 ₦)? Or an HP laptop for 99,000 CFA francs (less than 32,700 ₦)? Everything is possible during the spectacular “electroshock” week that Jumia is bringing to its customers from Monday 29 February to Sunday 6 March. The e-commerce leader will offer products from the best high-tech brands (Apple, Huawei, HP, Alcatel, Lenovo, etc.) at promotional prices: discounts up to 75% and an additional 10% discount on all orders paid with MTN mobile money. Besides, since last week, the fans of Jumia’s facebook page are winning free ipads, iphones and Alcatel, Samsung and Huwaei smartphones, through the “electroshock” contest.
“Originally called the electronics days, electroshock is a concept that we created last year by working with the best international high-tech references and MTN. Our goal is really to create an exceptional annual event, which grants our customers, a privileged and cheaper access to ICT’s. This year we have partnered with Alcatel, Apple, HP, Infinix, Lenovo and Huawei brands.” said Francis Dufay, Managing Director of Jumia Côte d’Ivoire.
