Ziing, powered by Investment One Financial Services will be having another session of its monthly Webinar on Thursday, 20th May 2021.
This session is bringing together three Nigerian entrepreneurs – Victor Asemota, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji and ‘Bosun Tijani – who have helped to shape the Nigerian startup scene, especially in the tech space.
See below the profiles of the panelists:
IYINOLUWA ABOYEJI (“E”): Iyinoluwa Aboyeji is the General Partner and Co-founder of Future Africa, a platform that provides capital, coaching and community for mission-driven innovators building an African Future where purpose and prosperity is within everyone’s reach.
Prior to co-founding Future Africa, he served as the Deputy Director-General for the Madam Oby Ezekwesili 2019 Presidential Campaign. He also helped to build Andela and Flutterwave, two of Africa’s largest and fastest-growing technology companies backed by global investors. Flutterwave became a unicorn in 2021, raising $170m at over $1 billion valuation.
VICTOR ASEMOTA: Victor Asemota is an African technology entrepreneur turned investor and advisor. He serves currently on boards at PlaceFund (formerly Omidyar Property Rights Initiative) and on the advisory board of IBM’s Hyperprotect (information security and cloud) global startup accelerator. He also serves on several startup boards.
He is actively investing in tech locally and he is a partner at two venture capital firms – AnD Ventures and Alta Global Ventures. He is an early Angel investor in some of the most successful African startups like Flutterwave where he is also an advisor.
OLATUBOSUN TIJANI: Bosun Tijani is the founder and Chief Executive of Co-creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB). His mission is to drive the application of knowledge for enterprise and economic prosperity, deepen the social impact of innovation, and empower people to create shared value.
