Mega star, Jay-Z is buying a Scandinavian music streaming company, Aspiro, for $56 million. He will be doing this through his company, Project Panther Bidco Ltd.
Jay-Z (real name Shawn Corey Carter) with an estimated net worth was $520 million, is one of the world’s best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 100 million records. He has his hands in many business interests including Rocawear clothing.
Does Jay-Z want to take on the likes of Spotify and Deezer? I wonder what his plans are.
