    It’s Seven Days to the Annual Women in Tech Week Festival

    The Annual Women in Tech Week Festival is just seven days away. Female tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and leaders are invited to attend the event schedule to hold from 18th to 22nd of September, 2018.

    The event aims to make it possible for Women in Tech Africa to achieve its goal of supporting female leadership, entrepreneurship and creating a pipeline for girls to choose technology.

    Founded by Ethel Cofie, a Ghanaian IT professional, entrepreneur and consultant who is also considered as one of the top five women impacting IT in Africa, the annual Women in Tech Week Festival connects  women and girls in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship and provides a platform to interact, network and share ideas in Technology, Entrepreneurship, Work-life balance, and Leadership.

    Women in Tech Africa WiTW, is taking place also in Germany, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malawi, Ireland, Tanzania, Ghana, Mauritius, Somaliland, Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia, Rwanda, Uganda, Morocco.

    This year, WiTW Lagos Chapter will be holding the 5-day event at NG_Hub by Facebook https://nghub.fb.com where there will be webinars with a deliberate selection of topics to enable participants drive Africa’s growth story and create an impact on people’s lives using Technology.

    The ‘Teach a Skill Day’ will also hold at NG_Hub by Facebook, which will feature a bootcamp on Soft Programming Skills, UX/UI development and 3-D printing.

    Three participants gets to win a 6-months paid internship to continue this training. There would also be a Digital Class, powered by Facebook to help young entrepreneurs learn the digital skills they need to move their business forward.

    The main WiTW Festival will be holding at Zone Tech Park https://zonetechpark.co, where the stories of women in Technology will be shared for participants to add knowledge.

    Startups and Founders can also apply for Zone Tech Park Accelerator program powered by WiTW Lagos and KJK.
