    iPhone SE officially launched in Nigeria, we have the pics

    Apple’s iPhone SE was officially launched in Nigeria last Friday at the Grand African Ball room of Intercontinental Hotel Lagos, the event was hosted by Redington Nigeria Limited. From the Apple branded ‘self service’ electronic registration kiosks at the lobby, to the exotic cocktails, the Live social Media wall, the iPhone themed decorative center pieces and ‘Siri’ Announcements, the entire production team led by Mr. Gaurav Pant, Country Head, Redington Nigeria Limited, put on quite a show at the unveiling and introduction of the new iPhone SE into the Nigerian Market.

    Rhythm FM’s Anita Isedeh popularly known as ‘Omaliicha’ and Ajebo the comedian of NaijaFM were the event MCs. There were also exciting and energetic performances from ‘IBK Spaceshipboi’ and fast rising Alternative Rock artiste ‘PHRANCE’. The event which had major Redington distribution partners in attendance. saw guests being treated to some great food and two members of the audience went home with the brand new iPhone SE selected in a transparent on-screen digital raffle draw.

    In his brief Keynote address, Mr. Gaurav Pant while highlighting the benefits of the new iPhone SE also talked about the growing acceptance of the Apple brand in Nigeria. In his words:

    “iPhone SE takes a beloved iPhone design and reinvents it from the inside out, giving customers a powerful, full-featured iPhone. With the embedded 64-bit A9 chip, and longer lasting battery life, iPhone SE customers have all the power in their hands.”

    With an easy-to-use interface, amazing features, and security at its core, the iPhone SE comes with powerful built-in apps like iMessage, FaceTime®, Maps, improved Siri® features, and a new Night Shift™ feature that uses your iPhone SE’s clock and geo location to automatically adjust the colors in the display to the warmer end of the spectrum after dark and may even help you get a better night’s sleep.

    The new bead-blasted aluminum iPhone SE with a four-inch Retina® display is packed into a light and compact package, designed to fit comfortably in your hands and pocket.

    The iPhone SE is now available at all Apple authorized retail outlets across Nigeria.

    Redington Nigeria Limited is the Apple Authorized Distribution Partner for iPhones and other Apple products in Nigeria.

    The iPhone SE official Launch was graced by the likes of Dallas Communications, Etisalat Device Team, Finet, SPAR Park n Shop, Kolia Angel, Dax Tech, SLOT, DSCL, Okay Fones, iConnect, Fuzeb Ventures, Purch, Harmony, Affordables, Lavi Deepu et al.
