iPhone 7 Crushes Samsung’s Galaxy Note7 in Real World Performance Test

A speed test was carried out by PhoneBuff to demonstrate how fast Apple’s Latest Flagship ‘iPhone 7’ is when compared to Samsung’s latest, the Note 7.

And as we already know last year’s iPhone 6s crush the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note7 in a real world speed test (which is their fastest device), so it’s obviously not that much of a surprise to see the iPhone 7 knockdown the Note 7.

So instead of merely comparing benchmarks, we get take a look at how quickly the phones can open and switch apps.
This tests how the phone will actually be in daily use by testing the processor speed and memory efficiency: how quickly it can load apps, and how well it can store those apps in memory for multitasking.

You can see the video embedded below.

The iPhone 7 lapped the Note7 during the test, completely finishing the race before Samsung’s Note7 could even complete the first lap.

Not only that, but the iPhone finished its second and final lap just shy of 24 seconds before the Samsung phone could finish the first lap.
Samsung’s second lap, which should have the benefit of storing apps in memory, therefore not needing to load them (it didn’t for Samsung) was nearly as long as Apple’s first and slowest lap.
