Female entrepreneurs instigating change in Africa, alongside those in the Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East, are encouraged to apply for the Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award. This award serves to acknowledge and assist women entrepreneurs spearheading inventive changes.
Coordinated by the Impact Hub Network, the Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award not only offers recognition, but is also committed to endorsing women who are innovators in the areas of health, nutrition, and climate-smart solutions.
The award will select a total of fifteen winners, of which five will be from Africa and the Middle East. These women will participate in a six-month accelerator program, granting them access to indispensable resources and opportunities that will aid in the growth of their businesses.
The invitation to apply is extended to women who hold leadership positions in companies that utilize sustainable business models to proffer significant solutions in health, nutrition, or climate-smart solutions. Prospective applicants should be generating substantial social or community impact, primarily in the Global South, and their ventures should be profit-making.
