Google unveiled its latest range of Google smartphones – Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro – at the at the Made by Google event in New York City today. It was unveiled alongside the new Google Pixel Watch.
The Pixel 7 has a 6.3-inch display and smaller bezels while the Pixel 7 pro has a 6.7-inch immersive display and a beautiful polished aluminium frame
The Pixel 7 comes with 8GB RAM and either 128 or 256GB of storage while the Pixel 7 Pro comes with 12GB RAM and an extra 512GB storage option. The battery capacity for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are 4,355mAh and 5000mAh and Google claims both phones’ batteries can last around 24 hours
Camera wise, both phones have 50MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide lenses, with a 10.8MP selfie cam. The Pixel Pro however sports an extra 48MP telephoto lens
Both phones support Nano SIM, eSIM and have wireless charging capabilities. They also come with Android 13 and Google Tensor G2 custom chipset processor
The Pixel 7 is available in three colours: Snow, Obsidian and brand new Lemongrass while the Pixel 7 Pro is available in three colours also: Snow, Obsidian and Hazel.
You can pre-order the Pixel 7 today starting at $599 and Pixel 7 Pro from $899 today and the phones will be available in stores with all major U.S. carriers starting on October 13.
The smartphones are available in these countries and in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden for the first time.
