Interswitch has always been at the forefront of digital payment in Africa having successfully launched two other huge digital payment platforms-, Verve and Quickteller.
Since its inception in 2002, the brand has facilitated the electronic circulation of money as well as the exchange of value between individuals and organizations on a timely and consistent basis.
To stay in this position, the company keeps providing creative and innovative solutions to satisfy its teeming customers.
While premiering its new sets of TVC at its headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, the marketing managers of each of the brands,- Interswitch,Verve and Quickteller told the story that explains the brand positioning and the rationale behind each of the TVC set to be aired to the public by this weekend.
Mr, Olawale Akanbi, the Marketing Manager for Interswitch explained how Interswitch has enabled organisations and individuals all across Africa to have access to better payment platforms.
To buttress what had already been discussed, the first in the set was aired.
Aptly themed, ‘Long live the Curious” played for two minutes. The TVC centered on the uniqueness of the brand and its resolution to find answers to the ‘whys’ and ‘whats’ of payment solutions, the camera followed a young boy that later became a young scientist as he relentlessly chased his dreams.
The second one with the theme ‘Special People’ showed different professionals with their different challenges who are able to make easy and quick payments for different goods and services. Special people depict the primary focus of the brand in creating unique solutions for its special customers who never say never. These people are supported by Interswitch who stay committed to serving and making life easier for them.
The last in the sequence of commercials for Interswitch is ‘Beyond the Big Picture’ which is one that shares an inspiring story of reaching beyond the basic – A video that resonates with the brand’s idea of looking at all the things that hinges around the big picture. It tells the story of the many backends that secures and provides the great payment solutions that everyone gets to enjoy.
The Verve TVCs came next .To introduce the Verve commercials, the marketing manager for Verve,Enyioma Anaba shared the Verve story being the first and biggest indigenous payment card brand in Nigeria. Verve, in her words depicts energy, fun-loving and young at heart.
To understand the directions of the brand, she shared the two TVCs while commenting on the stories behind them and how they relate to the brand.
The V for verve, which is the first in the Verve campaign sequence, is an edgy campaign that is targeted at the young, restless and unashamedly different. She said it is time for people to know that they cannot be confined in their choices. Verve provides its users a unique option to choose. They can choose the kind of payment card that works for them instead of settling for whatever the bank issues.
The Got Verve campaign is centered on the success stories of Nigerians despite the odds- A story that the brand uses to reinforce its resolve to always be available at every point. You may use generated paycodes or your cards to make transactions making it very flexible and futuristic.
The last three TVCs for the day were that of Quickteller, the multi-channel payment platform. Mr Adetayo Teluwo, the marketing manager of the brand described the many solutions made available through the platform. The major focus of the brand is to make sure that payment is made as seamless and easy as possible. This message couched in the phrase ‘making everyday payment easy’ was well passed in thoroughly enjoyable short clips.
Interswitch hopes to improve its visibility despite its already enviable position in the industry. It also seeks to connect better with its many and potential customers.
