International Men’s Day is an annual occasion to recognize positive male role models and improve gender relations. In honor of the day, we have gathered five ways on how men can run a household better.
Believe it or not, an article published by the Daily Mail has stated that men are actually happier when the housework is shared between them and their partner. The study, which was conducted at the University of Cambridge (2012) with 30,000 participants from 34 countries, concluded that men actually like to do housework. Whether the men perform up to household standards is for their partners to find out!
Now, with the help of technology, men can be even happier by doing household tasks through the help of apps. ZipJet has found five ways on how they can run a household more efficiently and pull their weight, through digital support.
- ZipJet App (Free) – Women have said that 85% of the time they do the laundry. Well, the next time there is a full laundry basket, ZipJet is there to help. ZipJet is an on-demand laundry and dry cleaning pickup and delivery service that returns your cleaning to you within 24 hours.

- Mopp App (Free) – As mentioned above, men do less housework, although if you live alone or your partner actually doesn’t mind doing chores around the home, give them or yourself the ability to relax. Mopp is a website and app that allows you to book a home cleaner and/or handyman by selecting a date and time that is best for you.
