Chip maker Intel and global investment firm DigitalBridge have launched a standalone generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) business named Articul8. The platform provides enterprise clients with an entirely integrated, vertically-optimized, and secure GenAI platform, giving them the autonomy to choose between cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployment alternatives.
Articul8 is the go-to solution for enterprise customers aiming to streamline their operations while ensuring data remains within the security perimeters of the enterprise. The platform operates on Intel’s Xeon Scalable processors and Intel’s Gaudi accelerators. Despite being constructed on Intel hardware, Articul8 also supports an extensive array of hybrid infrastructure alternatives.
With its deep AI and HPC domain knowledge and enterprise-grade GenAI deployments, Articul8 is well positioned to deliver tangible business outcomes for Intel and our broader ecosystem of customers and partners. As Intel accelerates AI everywhere, we look forward to our continued collaboration with Articul8.
Pat Gelsinger, Intel CEO.
Intel’s technology is adopted by various technology firms, including Stability AI, the creators of the Stable Diffusion text-to-image model, and Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a renowned global management consulting enterprise. One compelling reason for choosing Intel’s technology to facilitate their AI systems is Intel’s established track record of collaboratively working with the open ecosystem as well as independent software vendors to scale technologies.
DigitalBridge Ventures is the primary investor in Articul8, with other distinguished investors including Fin Capital, Mindset Ventures, Communitas Capital, GiantLeap Capital, GS Futures, and Zain Group.
This varied consortium of investors reflects the widespread interest and support in Articul8. Intel and DigitalBridge will keep a strategic alignment on market-go opportunities, collaborating to stimulate GenAI adoption among customers.
Articul8 has already been implemented in numerous sectors including financial services and telecommunications, showcasing its ability to address enterprise needs like integrations with existing technology stacks and heightened security.
According to Marc Ganzi, the CEO of DigitalBridge, every global enterprise faces the challenge of integrating GenAI capabilities into their workflows, and Articul8 can simplify this process for them. The easy deployment and scalable features of Articul8 enable enterprises to leverage value from their proprietary data.
DigitalBridge and Intel’s collaboration started almost two decades ago when DigitalBridge was in its incubation stage at Intel. With the aid of industry investment, DigitalBridge and Intel can continue their collaboration to expedite Articul8’s market-go strategy and expand its product offerings for the extensive GenAI ecosystem.
