Instagram video ads just got a lot more powerful. The Facebook owned company updated the app’s video feature on Tuesday that should sit really well with advertisers. Videos shared to Instagram now loop continuously… that means they automatically start again from the beginning as soon as they finish and can no longer be paused until you scroll past them.
This change should ensure users actually watch all the videos in their feed, including ads. This change is obviously going to please both current and prospective Instagram advertisers. The company, started surfacing video ads not too long and it’s safe to say that marketers are on board with any update that boosts the probability users will see their ad.
