Content creators can now schedule a forthcoming stream up to 90 days in advance from the live composer, which includes a title description and product tags if you want to advertise them in your stream.
According to Instagram’s plans, the platform has been testing out a new live-stream shopping format, which has proven effective in increasing app usage by boosting discovery and driving purchase activity in real-time. Likewise, TikTok is exploring the same idea having witnessed success with live shopping in China, which is really the template for this new push, and encouraging more shopping behaviour in each app.

Users will be able to register for reminders that will be sent to them the day before the broadcast and again 15 minutes before the stream begins if you choose to schedule your streams.
