It all started with Pete Frates who posted a video of him doing his own version of the Ice Bucket Challenge dancing to the tune of Vanilla Ice’s “Ice, Ice Baby”. Pete Frates was diagnosed with disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis ALS in 2012.
The Ice Bucket Challenge, sometimes called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on someone’s head to promote awareness of ALS and encourage donations to research.
