Huawei has said it is seeing lot of potential in the wearable market and plans to focus more on the wearable device market hoping it picks up as much as its smartphone market. Jerry Huang, Huawei head of marketing communications said this during a media tour held at the Huawei Headquarters, Shanzhen China.

He said, “We see a lot of potential in the wearable market though the market has not picked up as well as the Smartphone market. We are not as big in this market as we are in the smartphone market, where we are rated as third globally, but we are looking into ways of nurturing innovations surrounding the wearable technology, since this is the way to go in the technology world.”
