This past May Microsoft booted Huawei laptops out of its online store following the US ban on trade with the Chinese Tech Giant.
However, the Chinese Tech Giant’s laptops have silently been reintroduced to the platform overnight.
A Microsoft Spokesman said in a press statement, “We have been evaluating and will continue to respond to, the many businesses, technical and regulatory complexities stemming from the recent addition of Huawei to the US Department of Commerce’s Export Administration Regulations Entity List. As a result, we are resuming the sale of existing inventory of Huawei devices at Microsoft Store.”
It’s uncertain as to whether devices from Huawei will continue to be listed on the platform after all existing inventory has been sold off.
There is also questions on the fate of the company’s license to use the Windows OS in its devices.
This past week, Huawei was to launch its new Windows-supported laptop at the CES Asia Show, but postponed this action due to the sanctions imposed upon it by the US government.

Since the US ban, the tech giant is anticipating a nosedive in shipments of all their devices globally. Several US-based companies, Microsoft among them, have ceased all sales and business relations with the company, and have seen their revenues negatively impacted themselves.
Huawei’s revenues are expected to take a hit, down to US$100 Billion from a projected US$125 Billion
ECommerce giant Amazon has also not ceased sales of Huawei laptops.
