How You Can Enable Kids Space on an Android Tablet

Over the years, the Amazon Fire Kids tablet has been one of the best Android tablets for kids and has earned the trust of parents. The main reasons are the price of Amazon tablets and the amazing Amazon Kids software.

Well, Google is building its own software to give parents more choice when it comes to choosing a tablet that their kids will feel comfortable with. By linking the already useful Google Family Link to the Kids Space software layer, Google offers a complete ecosystem for both kids and parents.

How to enable Kids Space on your child’s tablet

Presently, you can find Google Kids Space on a very limited number of devices. However, the program will open on more devices in the future. If you haven’t already, you will first need to create a Google Family Link account for your child. After that, you can follow these steps to turn it on on any device that supports Kids Space.

Step 1: Turn on your tablet and establish a WiFi connection.

Step 2: If this is your first time setting up your device, tap “My Child”. When your device is ready, click on the Kids Space icon that looks like a top.

Step 3: Sign in to your child’s Google account.

Step 4: Select “Set Up” to start creating your Kids Space account.

Step 5: Choose which apps and other content your child will have access to.

Step 6: When ready, click “Accept”. Next, review and accept settings and information.

    Step 7: Select Done.

After the initial setup is complete, you can change it later in the Google Family Link app. In this app, you also track usage and approve requests for your child’s apps.

Devices that support Google Kids Space, such as the Lenovo Smart Tab M10 HD, do a great job of bringing software and family access to one device. The Kids Zone features teacher-approved apps, games, books, and YouTube Kids, so your kids can have fun learning and learning while developing their skills.
