The Australian Open is come and gone but one of the interesting things for Uber Eats was how it capitalised on the event to promote its brand.
The online food ordering and delivery platform released some TV ads that involved sport personalities like Rapheal Nadal, Daria Gavrilova, Caroline Wozniacki, Nick Kyrgios and more. It is part of the “Tonight I’ll eating…” series
The TV ads tricked tennis fans into thinking it was a real match. Here are some of the TV ads below.
In this first one, this shows Raphael Nadal ordering for a pizza. He says…Tonight I will be eating Half Hawaiian,….As soon as he places the order, someone drops a package with an Uber Eats logo on it.

Another ad begins with the Spaniard approaching the net to confront the umpire’s call. He appears unhappy but he orders for dumplings.
Upon getting his delivery from Uber Eats, he turns apparently happy when the umpire says “Dinner Violation” Nadal.

Here is another Tv ad but this time with Australia’s Nick Kyrgios. As he is about to serve the ball, he looks into the camera and says “Tonight I will be eating a cheesy garlic bread and a Neapolitan ice cream sundae….
