Apple is gearing up for its annual fall event, a major showcase where it is expected to unveil its next generation of products. This year’s event is titled “Awe Dropping“ and is scheduled for September 9 at 7 PM CAT / 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT.
If you’re looking to catch the announcements live, the event will be streamed on Apple’s official website and its YouTube channel.
The main focus of the event will almost certainly be the new iPhone 17 lineup. While the software side of things, iOS 26, was already introduced at WWDC this summer, a number of hardware updates are anticipated.
- iPhone 17 Air: One of the most talked-about potential new products is an ultralight smartphone, possibly named the iPhone 17 Air. This would be the first time Apple has used its “Air” branding for a mobile device. However, some analysts, including Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, have suggested that this first-generation device may have some initial challenges.
- Standard iPhone 17 Models: In addition to the potential new “Air” model, the event is expected to feature the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
- Other Devices: Beyond the new iPhones, Apple is also likely to reveal refreshes for its Apple Watch series and may even offer a sneak peek at new smart home technology.
All of these new products and features will be unveiled during the “Awe-Dropping” event, so be sure to tune in on September 9 for the full rundown.
