After composing a phenomenal tweet, certain users just copy your work and post through their own account without giving you credit or rather re-tweeting your original post and might perhaps get the fame. If you’re one of those users who have issues with stolen tweets, you’ll be glad to know there’s a way to actually handle this problem.
Stolen tweets have been an issue for most twitter users and it’s been going on for a while too.
Twitter is doing something about stolen tweets and to get this done, you have to file a legitimate complaint. For the complaint to be legitimate, you have to be a creative e.g. you are a writer, photographer or other creative. An example would be a professional writer who tweets excerpts from their book, and someone steals those tweets, that certainly qualifies.
To report stolen tweets, you can submit your complaint through Twitter’s copyright infringement form.
