This latest feature is one of the several new Google updates to its Android apps. To use the schedule function, you will need to have installed the most recent version of Google Messages on your phone. Open the Play Store app, and go to ‘My Apps’ to check for updates. (newest version is 7.4.050)
Follow these easy steps to schedule a text with the Google Messages app…
Step 1: After typing in your text, hold (long-press) the ‘Send’ button to schedule the time.
Step 2: Choose your preferred date and time.
Step 3: Click ‘Save’, then ‘Send’ button.
