How to Organise and Manage Your Routine With Your Smartphone

Your smartphone can do so many things including managing and organising your life and doubling down on your productivity. This can be done by using the apps (some of which you have to download) on your smartphone.

Whether you are using Android or iOS, It does not really matter. The vital thing here is that it is keeping you organised and helping you not forget things.

    1. Put to-do tasks into the calendar

Even if you use a paper planner to manage your To-Do list on a daily basis, sometimes you need to jot down a task on the fly. Since you always have your phone with you, it’s easy to type something like “pick up dry cleaning” or “call doctor” into your calendar so you don’t forget by the time you get home.

    2. Use calendar alerts to remember due dates

Your calendar is not for only meetings. It can be used as a reminder to remember due dates. Enter the due date with an alarm or notification.

    3. Set reminders for recurring tasks

Your phone’s calendar is also a great way to remember things that need to be done once a week, once a month, or just once or twice a year. Set up a recurring note on your calendar for things you do repeatedly. Then add an alert so you’re sure to notice the reminder.

    4. Set alarms to remember things throughout the day

Set an alarm for when each person in your family needs to wake up but also set alarms for when the kids need to be picked up at school or when you need to leave for an appointment. It’s also good to set alarms to help you remember things like drinking water, switching the laundry from the washer to the dryer, and stretching your legs for a little exercise.

    5. Take photos of details that need to be remembered

If you tend to be forgetful, use your phone to snap a pic of things. Your camera is also a great way to save addresses or remember the street where you parked the car.
