With the help of a developer and a design student, the Google Play Store now works flawlessly on Windows 11. If you use this solution you would be able to install and run games and apps from Google’s Android app store within Windows 11.
Microsoft began implementing Windows 11 Android app support last week, although the formal integration is limited to the Amazon Appstore and fewer than 50 apps during the beta period. Installing the Google Play Store on Windows 11 gives you access to all of the Android apps and games you could ever want.
An Italian student of user experience design named ADeltaX recently installed the Google Play Store on Windows 11 and documented the process step-by-step. ADeltaX has put together a video instruction for individuals who want to get things up and running quickly but aren’t comfortable with Linux commands or command prompts.
Google Play Store was up and operating on Windows 11 in 30 minutes shortly after downloading all the necessary tools, activating WSL and installing Ubuntu. As a result, Windows 11 now has a fully working Play Store where you can download any Android software.
The complete installation instructions may be found on GitHub or by watching the walkthrough video on YouTube. The Windows Subsystem for Android, as well as Amazon Appstore support, should be accessible to all Windows 11 users in the next months, according to Microsoft.
