Holiday tech gifts for my teenage son

By Francis Ebuehi on December 5, 2014 Ecommerce, Gadgets, Jumia, News

It is the holiday season again and I haven’t bought gifts yet. However I have scouted the online sites in Nigeria and I have come across some gadgets I think he will like.

Gifting gadgets is always a smart move—especially when you know they’ll be well-used and appreciated. But sometimes, tech gifts can feel a little impersonal, no matter how high-end they are. That’s where a thoughtful add-on makes all the difference. Pairing a sleek gadget with a custom keychain adds a personal touch that shows you went the extra mile. Whether it’s engraved with his name, a special date, or an inside joke you both share, it transforms the gift from simply useful to unmistakably his.

This is why wholesale personalized keychains are a brilliant addition to your holiday gifting lineup. They’re affordable, meaningful, and can be ordered in bulk if you’re playing Santa for more than one lucky person. From leather and metal finishes to colorful acrylic options, you can find a style that complements the gadget you’re gifting—be it a smart key tracker, wireless earbuds, or a new tech accessory. It’s a small gesture, but it makes your gift stand out in a sea of boxes and bows, reminding the recipient that the thought really does count.

    The Playstation 4

    PlayStation-4

Knowing my Son’s love for games, I know this would make his day. Giving him the PS4 with any battle-like game will definitely delight him. I thought I could get one at the last Yakata (Black Friday) organized by Konga.com or even Jumia’s Black Friday. I could not….So I may have to get it at the full price. Just checked the sites.. Sold out on the Konga site but Jumia has the 500GB Console for N73,995.00.. Or should I get the PS 3? This starts from N42,000 on Konga.com.  Hmmm… Will have to make up my mind.

    The Playstation  Vita

This is another gadget I know my son would like. I can get one for N37,000 on Konga. With this, he can play the biggest and best games for a social world. And with Wi-Fi, he can engage nearby gamers.

    The Infinix Zero

    Infinix Zero

I know my son needs a new phone. He tells me he can never take his phone out of his room for now. I think the Infinix Zero would come in handy.

Its review boasts of a 13MP camera, the speed derived from the powerful Octa-Core processor, the latest Android 4.4 Kit kat technology and the classy glass on metal finish.

Well for me, it is a functional phone and it will definitely meet his needs…

It is up to me to make up my mind. There must be something under the tree on the 24th night…

What do you hope to give your son for Christmas? Any ideas?
