I thought I had seen it all….until now. A camera with five cameras. HMD Global has just unveiled a Nokia smartphone with five cameras called the Nokia 9 Pureview at the Mobile Word Congress in Barcelona
It is truly the first smartphone with 5 cameras on the rear. But it actually looks like 7 cameras in a ring. There are three 12-megapixel monochrome cameras and two 12-megapixel RGB cameras, all f/1.8, 28mm. One spot is a flash, and the other is a time-of-flight sensor for depth mapping. It also has a 20MP front-facing camera.
Weighing 172g, the Nokia 9 Pureview measures 55 x 75 x 8 mm. The display is PureDisplay 5.99″ QHD+ pOLED with a 2k HD resolution and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
It sports an Android 9 Pie OS, CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and a 6GB RAM and an internal storage of 128 GB. It also has an integrated 3320 mAh battery. It is IP67 water and dust resistant.
The Nokia 9 PureView price is $699 (around £540) and is expected to go on sale in the coming weeks.
