Everyone knows that the Nokia 3310 was built to last and that was its unique selling point when it was introduced in 2000 ….until Nokia stopped the production. With 126 million units sold worldwide, it was one of Nokia’s most iconic devices. A new mobile phone based on the iconic 3310 design was launched in 2017 to relive the successful yesteryears.
In line with the tradition of building rugged phones, HMD Global has introduced a new smartphone, the Nokia XR20, which they say, is built to last. In its blog post, the company says “the casing is made to military standards MIL-STD-810H, and the screen is our toughest glass yet. So, you can drop it, get it wet, and even record your kid’s football game in the roughest weather – if it gets dirty, you can just clean it with soap and water.”
