If you’re interested in purchasing the new Nokia 6 by HMD Global, you’ll be glad to know that the smartphone is available for pre-order at JD.com. Interested customers can actually reserve their Nokia 6 at the Chinese retailer store but keep in mind that you will have to pay a $9 fee for each Nokia 6 reservation, which will be deducted from the phone’s retail price of ¥1699.00($245).
According to JD.com, the retailer confirmed a release for the smartphone, which will go on sale on January 19. So customers who already reserved a phone will probably receive it in about a week from now. Although, according to reports, the Nokia 6 could be launched globally as another variant of the smartphone recently received its Bluetooth certification.
There have also been reports of at least one other Nokia-branded smartphone which could be announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) by HMD Global, next month. The upcoming smartphone is known as the Nokia 8, and it’s said to be more superior than the Nokia 6.
The Nokia 8 is expected to pack a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal memory. The smartphone also sports a 5.7-inch display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.
