Hillary Clinton launched a game-style mobile app, Hillary 2016, for her presidential campaign. This app helps volunteers get engaged in the campaign activities from their smartphone.

The app was built by a team of techonlogy veterans from DreamWorks Animation, Charity: Water and Livestream.

    With Hillary 2016, you can:

    • Complete daily challenges to help elect Hillary Clinton
    • Get rewards (digital and real-life ones!)
    • Design your own campaign HQ
    • Test your knowledge and become an expert on the issues
    • Compete against your friends and other supporters
    • Share news and information (and even do some good old-fashioned organizing)
    • And, as they say, a whole lot more.

Though designed to help Hillary supporters take real-world actions, it has a gaming element which is  based on gaming concepts like those used in FarmVille and other social games. Volunteers can compete against one another and earn both virtual and real-world rewards.

The app is only available on iOS for now; however an Android version is in the works.
