After Apple unveiled the iPhone 6 and 6plus, rumours had been swirling around with a 4-inch 6s in the works, which was good news to some iPhone users. Digitimes now claim Apple will be releasing three new iPhones models this year and yes, the 4-inch iPhone is included.
As we’d expect, there would be two new “S” models this year which has become an annual tradition from the company. The rumour claims the company will also release a 4-inch iPhone 6c alongside the 6S’s. Well, last year we also heard Apple will discontinue the “C” iPhone lineup.
The displays will be made from Corning’s Gorilla Glass which will support Apple’s new Force Touch technology and according to its specs, the 6c will stick with the current A8 chip and might also come with an 8 MP camera, which isn’t that much of a surprise, so don’t expect any optical image stabilisation like that on the Plus.
Digitimes also claims that all three phones will ship with Touch ID sensors and NFC support for Apple Pay and on the software side, as we all know, Apple is working on a stability release that will squash bugs and fix problems which will ship as iOS 9 on these new iPhones.
Keep in mind that all these are only rumours which might end up being false.
