Helios working with Citigroup to run a sale process for Interswitch

By Staff Writer on February 4, 2016 Business

Innovation Village ran a story some days ago that Interswitch, Nigeria’s digital payments company is likely to go public on the London Stock Exchange and the Nigerian Stock Exchange this year.

Well in the same light, Bloomberg reports that Helios Investment Partners, the main shareholders of Interswitch, is working with Citigroup Inc. to run a sale process for Interswitch.

Though the report has not been confirmed by Helios or Citigroup, it is obvious that something big is cooking.

No matter what, payday for the shareholders is coming very soon.
