Helios Investment Partners and Fipar-Holding, a subsidiary of CDG Invest, have announced the launch of 3MDC, a new digital infrastructure platform designed to accelerate Morocco’s digital transformation and reinforce its position as a leading regional technology hub.

    A Unified Digital Powerhouse

The new platform brings together three of Morocco’s most established technology players: Maroc Datacenter (MDC), Munisys, and Medasys. By combining their expertise in cloud services, data management, cybersecurity, and digital solutions, 3MDC creates a fully integrated hybrid-cloud platform serving enterprise and public-sector clients across Morocco and Southern Europe.

    Leveraging Complementary Strengths

    • Maroc Datacenter (MDC) contributes its carrier-neutral Tier III data center, one of the fastest-growing facilities in the region.
    • Munisys adds deep capabilities in on-premises cloud, cybersecurity, systems integration, and digital solutions, backed by decades of experience.
    • Medasys brings complementary technological expertise and a strong understanding of Morocco’s IT ecosystem.

Together, these assets position 3MDC as a secure, sovereign, and scalable digital infrastructure provider, capable of supporting Morocco’s ambitions for digital sovereignty and sustainable growth.

    Ownership Structure

3MDC will be jointly owned by:

    • Helios IV – 44%
    • Fipar-Holding – 40%
    • Founders and management teams – 16%

    Strategic Vision

Babatunde Soyoye, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Helios Investment Partners, stated:

This investment reflects our conviction in Africa’s digital future and our track record of building national champions in partnership with leading local institutions. The combination of MDC, Munisys, and Medasys creates a unique Moroccan platform with the scale and expertise to enable secure, sovereign, and sustainable digital growth.

Khalid Ziane, General Manager of Fipar-Holding, added:

This partnership aligns with our ambition to strengthen Morocco’s technological foundations and foster a modern, resilient, and inclusive digital ecosystem. The new platform will play a pivotal role in accelerating the country’s digital transition.

Younes Peter Amine, CEO of Munisys, commented:

With Helios and Fipar’s backing, we can expand our cloud and cybersecurity offerings while enhancing the reliability and breadth of services our customers depend on. Together with MDC and Medasys, we will deliver a truly end-to-end, locally hosted, and secure platform for Morocco’s digital economy.

Abderrahmane Mounir, President and CEO of Maroc Datacenter, concluded:

Joining 3MDC marks an important step in MDC’s evolution. We look forward to building Morocco’s leading digital infrastructure group and supporting the country’s digital transformation.
