I must admit that I have actually reunited with old friends through Google. Even though I have not been able to meet all of them yet. Guess some of them (of the old brigade) are not still comfortable with listing their details online.
However seeing this recent video from Google titled “Reunion” brings back the feeling that everything is indeed possible with Google. The video has garnered over 9 million views since it was published on the 13th of November this year. It is about a granddaughter’s (in India) quest to surprise her grandfather on his birthday by reuniting him with his childhood friend (who is now in Pakistan) after over 6 decades of separation, with a little help from Google Search. The India-Pakistan partition in 1947 separated many friends and families overnight.
