Have You Seen The MTN N10 Recharge Card? Details Inside

Everyone will call the N10 MTN recharge card extremely ridiculous or an April Fools’ Day prank but actually, not everyone will. The N10 MTN Recharge Card on which it is also written ‘One Minute and One SMS‘ was likely designed for very low income individuals and people in rural areas.

The 2006 National Census puts Nigeria’s population close to 150 million with about 45 percent living in rural areas, the highest percentage of which are in the northern part of the country while 62% of Nigerians are said to live on less than N300 per day. By this move, it is clear that MTN is considering and targeting a very huge demographic. For most people who can have access to the internet and see the gist on social media it is ridiculous because we will rather not buy a refill for our phones than buy one for N10 but for people in these areas, this will be very crucial and instrumental in their daily affairs.

By the way, you are not likely to see these cards in the city.
