I hear invitations have started going out for the October 22 Apple event. I have not received mine yet. Yeah right, I wish. For those who are unaware, Apple is having an event on the 22nd of October in San Francisco.
I hear that the iPad 5 and the second in the iPad mini series would be unveiled. It should be amazing for all the Apple fanatics and all those who have money to spend on new gadgets even when they have not fulling used up to 60% of their current iPad 4 and iPad mini. As for me, I just want to get the invitation and be part of the event. I would definitely not go with current iPad….an iPad 2 else I am sure to be looked on with disdain. Well who cares?
Anyways, this October 22 event comes just some days after the launch of the iPhone 5S and 5C in Cupertino. Hmm.. What do we expect?
According to Bloomberg, people are expecting a thinner and lighter iPad with an improved camera while Wall Street Journal says a retina display-equipped iPad mini now seems inevitable. The Verge thinks Apple is going to announce the availability of OS X 10.9 Mavericks, new MacBook Pros and possibly talk about Apple TV and a rumoured smartwatch.
If I don’t get my invitation before the event in San Francisco, I will watch it streamed live.
Let’s wait and see.
