    Guinness Record For World’s Biggest Choir Is Set in Akwa Ibom

    The  Godswill Akpabio Unity Choir set a new Guinness World Record for the world’s largest group of  carol singers. The carol, which took place on the 13th of October, had been organized by the Akwa Ibom State Government Protocol office and held at the Uyo Township stadium. The Guinness Records management team confirmed the record on Christmas’ eve.

    The record-breaking choir of 25,382 members sang hymns like The First Noel, Joy To The World, O Christmas Tree, Hark The Herald Sing, Once In Royal Davids City and O Come All Ye Faithful.akwaibom-xmas2
