The music industry in Nigeria is still an attractive one and a new company has entered, hoping to make a difference in the ecosystem.
Grumi.com.ng, a new player in the music ecosystem, is focusing on music downloads, immersive music discussions and internet radio.
According to Techcabal, “Grumi is personally bootstrapped by its founders, Dapo Salami and Kofoworola Badmus. The service went live on the 26th of December and is currently in public beta.“
It is expected that this service will assist independent or unsigned upcoming artistes to share free music with their soon-to-be-fans “at very little cost and extreme ease”.
Hope it has learned from the incumbents in the industry like Spinlet, iROKING and Gidilounge so that it can effectively crack the digital music industry in Nigeria.
Recent entrants into the scene in Nigeria include Mymusic.com.ng and iwantairplay.
Best of Luck,
